I have been drawn to glass in its various forms all my life, starting with childhood holidays spent combing beaches for sea glass. But the glass invariably ended up collecting dust in a bowl.  A move to Spain in 2006 with my husband, 2 children and a dog, to 11 kilometres of unspoilt Andalucian beach, finally inspired me to do something with these little gems.  
 
My background is in the history of design (an MA from the University of Edinburgh), followed by a career in journalism and PR. Through Drift I have combined a longstanding appreciation of jewellery with a love of natural forms to create something wearable out of simple, pleasurable shapes which have been sculpted by nature.
